The US National Debt just crossed $35 Trillion, what happens if you pile it up in $1 bills?

Here’s a question that I bet you’ve never asked yourself but I’m here to provide some useless (but fun) ways to visualise the ridonkulous US National Debt.

• If you stacked $1 bills, the pile would reach to the moon AND back 4.97 times.

• If you spent $100 every second, it would take you 11,098.83 years to spend it.

• The weight in $100 bills is equivalent to the weight of 5.51 cruise ships
