For some reason lately I'm getting really pissed off by moon farmers simply reposting the same articles over and over and over again. Usually it is not even any proper interesting news but seems like "Google news -> crypto -> copypaste first result". And then for example yesterday the same "Hurr Erdogan no like crypto" article was spammed literally every ten minutes.
It's not in any way constructive but just cheap moonfarming of the worst kind, probably hoping to hit a "jackpot" article with thousands of karma. I realize that not everybody is in the sub 24/7 so some level of reposting is of course okay, so people from different time zones checking in at different hours can read it as well. But I feel like there needs to be SOME limitation, because like I said, it's not about the same crap being posted again every 2 hours but more like every ten minutes.
And tbh I thought this was already being tackled by a prior Moons maintenance poll, but appearantly not? I'll also be honest that I don't know much about how Reddit systems work and what could be put in place technically to stop this spam.
What do you think? Am I the only one who gets super annoyed by this. Any suggestions?
