They almost got me

I just landed and got off the plane, I turn on my phone and got an email and a text message from Coinbase stating someone had attempted to withdraw some bitcoin from my account. Shortly after I read the messages I got a phone call from 323-612-2548 stating that they needed to verify I didn't approve this, to which I went along with, a courtesy call from a bank is not unheard of. It was perfect timing since I just got off a plane and was hurrying to my next destination, so I was a little preoccupied.

Then he sent me an email with a passcode and asked me to verify it, which I did. Then they sent a text to me which included an external link which started with //cb-relink.com/?email="my email address". Here is where it got phishy. The text was from 802-368-5282, and was blocked by my text spam filter. It directed me to a link which also was blocked by my chrome spam filter.

I asked for a call back number so I could verify some things before proceeding and he said that is the purpose of the call and I couldn't call back. Now my spidey sense was really tingling. I said I needed to think about it and told me I was on an android in my current city, and that should be all the verification that was needed. So I hung up. He called back about 15 min later, which I ignored. Go to check my coinbase account, no new transactions or alerts or anything. Changed my passwords on everything, so hopefully that is the last of them, but just wanted to post a PSA for anyone else with a similar experience.
