Thieves steal cryptocurrency codes worth a million euros. (The codes were stored in a safe)

Several men robbed a house, this Saturday morning, in Cascais (Portugal), and took ten thousand euros in cash and a safe containing luxury watches, valued at more than one hundred thousand euros, and codes from a cryptocurrency wallet that will be worth about one million euros.

The assault, which took place at around 2 am, targeted the home of a Pakistani citizen, located in a luxury area of ​​Cascais.

The suspects, in undetermined number, jumped the fence of the house, used the first floor window to climb to the roof, entering the property through a skylight.

The residence has an alarm system, which was triggered by the entry of intruders. But the suspects were quick to search the house, which they knew was empty. In a room, they removed the safe where the watches and cryptocurrency codes were. With such codes, suspects will eventually be able to access them and sell them.

The suspects also accessed another room, where ten thousand euros in cash were stored. Then they broke a glass door leading to the backyard and from there jumped onto the public road.

The owners, of Pakistani nationality, arrived home shortly after and found everything turned over and the goods missing. The PSP was alerted at that time.

The house has a video surveillance system that will help identify the suspects and later detain them by the PSP, which is investigating the case.

The owner of the house pointed out to the PSP the people he suspected were the perpetrators of the robbery. But, until the end of this Saturday afternoon, no arrests were known.
