To all the people who think the sub is ruined now

I’ve seen several people saying that it’s impossible to have good discussion on this sub anymore due to moons incentivizing people to post/comment frequently instead of having talks about technical features/market analysis/etc. While there are definitely more shitposts in general now, there are also many more quality posts now compared to the pre-moons era.

I’ve seen people complain about tribalism where you can’t speak about a coin in a non-biased manner, but that’s literally always been the case on this sub. Back in 2017 the XRP guys dunked on XLM and vice versa. This also went on for smart contract competitors and privacy coins (XMR vs Zcash). People take the coins they own and champion them because they hold an allegiance to what they bought because their money is on the line and I don’t think this is ever going to really change. That’s why you take everyone’s advice with a hefty grain of salt.

Overall, there’s way more people active here than last bear market and I do believe moons have a lot to do with it. This sub would only get like 10-20 posts per day sometimes in late 2019-2020 and it would be mainly depressing discussion. There wasn’t TA analyzing the global markets or 4 year cycle pictures often. It was bleak as hell.

TL:DR- the sub is much more active now than ever before. There’s more shitposts but there’s also more quality posts too. As someone here since 2017, I prefer it this way.
