To all you long time lurkers, what's your story?

I'll start (not a long timer, joined 2019/20), I've heard about Bitcoin a few times before but never enough to actually invest, I grew up with memes so dogecoin was a fun introduction into the technology. I bought about 50€ worth and actually wanting to own my own coins made me download some not so well made wallet, I got hooked on trying to figure out how it all works after I managed to transfer the coins to a decent wallet. After I discovered futures with leverage on binance it was all ogre, I learned about how markets work pretty fast (nothing boosts learning like skin in the game) and went from checking every few minutes/ hours to holding and checking the price once every few days/ sometimes even weeks. I am very grateful for having discovered crypto, and the community (while being a degenerate one) is very fun and helpful if you actually do your research and ask somewhat educated questions. I also feel like crypto made me a little more financially literate, thank y'all for being part of that. I'm excited for all of your storys!
