Well, I bought btc on the centralized exchange so I have to wait until next week for the ACH to clear to transfer to cold storage.
23 years old. first bought at 18, paper handed it for a loss months later. didn't understand what bitcoin was. Just thought it was a thing that went up in value.
When I was 19 I started investing in sp500 heavily but it wasn't until 20 that I finally realized what bitcoin was. I realized there was only 21 million and that was the main selling point for me.
I saved and invested every dollar into sp500 and converted everything to btc sept 2020.
I delivered food for work and that's it. I was going to college while delivering food but I would later drop out.
I lived frugally and put everything into btc.
When bitcoin crashed from 64k to 29k, I was kicked out of the house for dropping out of college. I continued to deliver food and live in my car for 6 months. By the time the 69k ATH came, I had 0.51 bitcoin inside celsius and a net worth equivalent to 0.91 bitcoin (I shamefully admit to having a lot of money in alts and sp500)
after living in my car for 6 months I lived on my friends couch for another 6 months doing absolutely nothing. I was not working and instead was making money from defi ponzis which I would later lose.
We all know 2022 was the bear market. I lost everything from the defi ponzis and Celsius took my 0.51 bitcoin.
My parents told me to come back home when celsius went bankrupt. By the time I came home, I had a $0 in assets and -$5,000 in credit card debt.
I continued delivering food and working entry level jobs. I split the check between the credit cards and buying bitcoin only. no more alts or stocks.
By the end of 2022, I had no credit card debt.
Beginning of 2023, I got a new entry level low paying job but have been putting in overtime work. and invested everything into btc.
Just about 1 year ago, I had no assets but had credit card debt.
Today, 3/4 into 2023, I have over 1 bitcoin. Only 21 million people can ever hold 1 at the same time, which is impossible because 4 million coins are lost, 1 million are satoshi burned coins, 150,000 in Michael saylor's wallets, and probably another 200,000 amongst other entities and companies. In reality, probably only 15 million people can possibly hold 1 bitcoin.
I'll post a picture next week once its in cold storage
