Today I paid my spanish tutor, venezuelan who lives in colombia, in btc. He explained to me how is he only allowed to have one account at the bank and that his account is only allowed to receive colombian pesos.
He is unable to open a paypal account. He is unable to open a savings account. Did my best to explain to him how bitcoin functions and showed him some videos. He said it all made sense as he was processing it.
My biggest takeaway from speaking with him today was that he said "Thank you for doing your best to help me understand, I will do my best to study bitcoin more. And I really hope that I can start saving now. Hopefully this changes my life for the better."
