Earlier this month, it was discovered that an approval bug on the SushiSwap protocol had been exploited to steal 1800 ETH:

This bug also impacted moon holders. A bad actor created this malicious contract to steal moons:
Three members had their moons stolen by this particular contract, with losses of:
- 40,000 moons
- 13,073 moons
- 3,300 moons
Today, SushiSwap refunded the USDC equivalent on the day of the exploit, roughly 0.25 USDC per moon.
This means the victim who lost 40,000 moons received 10,000 USDC:

The victim who lost 13,073 moons received 3,268 USDC:

I think the team at Sushi deserves some praise here. They immediately acknowledged the bug was their fault and began making victims whole once they could verify the legitimacy of individual claims.
