Ever wonder how much 1 BTC was when Bitcoin first came out? Depending on who you ask, the most common answer is NOTHING! Believe it or not, Bitcoin was traded between early adopters for free when it was first introduced, and a price tag was only put on it in July of 2010. Back then you could've bought one whole BTC for between $0.0008 and $0.08, but don't think about that too much as it may make you sad.
I'm definitely not sad though, even getting into Crypto in 2021, it still feels like we are early. Bitcoin has literally been a tween up until tomorrow.
So regardless of whether or not you hold BTC or hate it, we wouldn't be here today without Satoshi! Now is as good a time as ever to give it a read if you haven't already: https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-paper
