Hello all,
I'm relatively new to bitcoin and decided to download CashApp and use it as my primary wallet. I've learned that's a bad idea.
I bought a few hundred USD of BTC, which went smoothly through the app, which I then transferred to a gambling website. That transaction, as I've learned, was attached to a few others on the blockchain (which increased the fee), so the process went quickly and smoothly.
I decided to cash out a portion of my BTC out of the gambling website after a few hours back to my Cashapp wallet so I could convert is back to USD easily. Cashapp denied this transaction, with no explanation. I asked support and they said that it broke their ToS and that they could not tell me any more. I read through it, couldn't find anything about how I broke the ToS, but fine. They gave an option to refund the transaction back to the original wallet, so I did.
Almost 3 days later, here we are. I've been able to track my transaction through the blockchain.com link that the gambling website provides. Currently, it sits alone in this transaction, with a VERY small fee (like $0.38) that I didn't get to decide on. After some research I've learned that it's just not worth it for the miners to process this transaction due to the low fee.
What are my options now? I think I read somewhere that the transaction sort of just falls off after a while and I can redo the transaction with a higher fee, but I'm not sure Cashapp will allow that. Is there a way to expedite this through a third party?
Sorry if this is not allowed in some way. I just want my money.
Thanks.
