Hi everyone,
I'd like to transfer my BTC to a new BTC-only, airgapped hardware wallet. I got the new wallet ready to go, but with the current fee environment, it's going to cost hundreds of dollars to send the BTC. Are there any other options like LN? I know LN is designed for small transactions, so not sure if it's appropriate for this use case. At the end of the day, we're sending value across the planet, reaching final settlement within minutes. It's incredible and one could argue it's worth the high fees (as Saylor often does). Just curious if there's a more cost effective way with all of the new tools coming out.
If the answer is "monitor the mempool and wait to see if fees drop", what's the easiest way to set alerts to be notified when fees fall below a certain threshold?
