All Cryptocurrencies

Losing money sucks. we work our asses off for every penny. And here in cryptocurrency market it happens daily. Because in the end it is a big casino and we are gamblers. But losing it because you made a noobish mistake is even worst. But which on of us never made a mistake in this market? I know I did. And they were embarrassing. But how else do you learn? If those mistakes taught me something which could help me to avoid making more costly mistakes in the future, then that's money (almost) well spent. I made three bad mistakes and here I will share them with you folks and tell you why they were necessary and useful, if hurtful and embarrassing.

  1. Trusting crypto influencers: I was following this guy at Instagram and he was telling us to buy doge. Saying it is gonna take off soon. So we did. I thought he had a fundamental source. Truned out he was using his follower base to start a pump. Even if he did have a surce it turn out to be BS. Doge never to this day hit the price he told us it will in the next week and I sold at a lower price and never fell for meme coins again. Yes you might get a nice chunk of profit out of a pump but it is just too stressful for me.

Lesson: don't trust someone just because he is rich and successful.

  1. Using ETH chain for a 200$ transaction: I dunno how many of you fell for that. I had OMG which was on ATH. There was a snapshot and airdrop scheduled for later that day. It pump from 10$ to 19$. God I was so happy...I tried to exchange it. Then all hell broke loose! I had to pay 100$ in Ether to sell me 200$ worth of coins. And I had no ETH either! Then to add salt to the wound snapshot happened and "every bloody human being" dumped OMG. Go check it if you didn't. It droped from 19$ to 13 in a matter of seconds.

Lesson: fuck ETH. unless you are a big time trader or using a L2 wallet. And every pump is followed by a dump.

  1. Getting scammed like an idiot: this one I posted about before. I Got fooled by someone with fake identity and gave access of my wallet to a fake staking site.

Lessons: don't trust anyone online. Don't panic. Check out full domain name.

These three mistakes cost me around 1000$. Where I came from 1000$ is not a small sum. But a sum I could have afford to lose. So I am kinda happy they happened before I invest large sums in crypto. And I will make mistakes again. This is the only way to learn and improve.remember, If you don't have the stomach for losses maybe crypto isn't for you.

Have fun Vve
