Trying to deposit GBP in the UK

I am on the fiat & spot page and it literally says that it supports GBP and a whole range of other currencies towards the bottom of the page. However I cannot select GBP as a currency on the drop down box. It will however allow me to make a deposit with my card (it says no fees) in EUR.

My question is if I choose to deposit say 100 EUR, will this charge my card ~£90 (or whatever the converted amount is) into my account as EUR without me incurring the 2% fee if I was to buy crypto with my card on my binance app. The thing that annoys me about using my card within the app is, for example, it will say ETH is £1535 but by the time I take 2 seconds to get the payment confirmation I’m now being charged as if ETH is £1541 even though when I back out of the confirmation ETH is still £1535, what gives?

I used to deposit to binance through my bank with no fees and no issues, but this has been unavailable to me for some weeks now, and I’m starting to think maybe I should look into another exchange because it’s seemingly dragging on. Initially it said that the payment method was ‘under maintenance’ and I cannot even see this statement, or, as aforementioned, that GBP is indeed even a compatible currency with Binance.

When I first came to crypto a few months ago, I chose binance quite simply because I could buy XRP, whereas it was unavailable on Coinbase. I have taken 90% of my crypto off the exchange and into my cold wallet, and as a result of all this fuss really haven’t purchased anymore crypto since my payment method has been closed down, but I’m starting to lose my patience, and want to continue to buy more crypto a little here and there, but I don’t want to be doing it the way I’ve just described above where I seem to have to pay more than the actual trading price that is presented by the time I get to the card payment confirmation page.

My dad uses coinbase, and after having seen the price of his fees compared to what I’ve been used to with my holding of BNB and its discount I don’t think I could ever accept fees that high. I also actually really like the binance app, their charts, how I can track my order info, basically for one reason or another I am actually quite a big binance fan and do feel some loyalty towards their platform, so I really want to stick with them if I can.

However I’m really not sure how much more patience I have to hold out from purchasing more crypto and I just simply refuse to keep PCA’ing with the payment method available to me on binance. Does anybody have any idea / indication as to when the bank transfer deposit method will be up or running again, or is there some other way I am unaware of where I can get gbp from my bank account into my binance wallet without the fees. Failing this given my stated loyalty / passion for the binance app what other platform would you guys recommend that comes closest to the binance / design or style. After using binance for these past couple of months then occasionally looking at my dads profile on his coinbase app it just reminds me about how much i hate the look of coinbase and how much I love the look of binance. Call me strange but it is what it is!

N.B - Totally unrelated but I’m sure I’ve setup my vault and I’m sure I have had comments upvoted since I did, so how exactly is it that people get moons, I don’t get it? Can I buy them somewhere? They aren’t the same thing as the Reddit coins that I can buy right? This isn’t a beg for moons genuinely not entirely sure how it works, but I have been after seeing my moons go from 0 to 1 for weeks now haha, but like I said, even though I have had upvoted comments nothing has changed, is it exclusively you get 1 moon for each upvote on a post and not comments?
