UK banks suck.

Trying to buy bitcoin through Coinbase or Kraken within the UK is ridiculously frustrating. Starling don’t allow anything crypto, santander has a yearly limit, Monzo blocked my funds for 4 days and then proceeded to tell me they think it’s a scam even after I proved everything. And just last night I tried to buy more and Revolut have put a block on £1500 whilst previously allowing £2000 and holding a decent amount of BTC inside Revolut itself.

Why is there so many hoops to jump through when spending my own money on Crypto, and they try to say they are doing it to protect me, yet I could drop £20k in a gambling site and they wouldn’t even give a shit.

Are there any banks that you have used within the UK that allow purchasing through Kraken that you have had no bother with?

Update: I opened the chat again and got a new person. He just told me to do the payment again and he would authorise the payment.

He did however say that it may happen again as there is no way for them to stop it as it is automated.
