Hi all,
Aussie here and I need to move some cash over from the UK as a family member died and left me a couple of thousand pounds in their will.
Thankfully I had a UK bank account but I don't really want to use a Forex company to exchange it and was thinking about using crypto instead. Is there any way I can deposit GBP in an exchange if I'm not registered as being in the UK? I have a Binance account, coinbase and few others but all are registered to my Australian address. Did it before years back but since then, a lot of exchanges have removed fiat deposits annoyingly. It is quicker and cheaper usually than Forex companies and an ideal use case for the low fee alt coins (e.g. I used XRP last time)
Any easy way to do it? Or will I have to bite the bullet and use a (cheaper i.e. not bank) Forex company like Wise?
Inb4 nice try MI5 and AFP
