I interact with so many people who think bitcoin is too “expensive”. There’s also a majority of people that think in stock market terms and that the price per bitcoin is the price per share. This is where I try and insert a brief explainer of the reality of bitcoin.
BUT!! Why can’t there be a unit bias discussion among many of the key influencers as a marketing campaign. That would be selling SATS.
Imagine the feeling someone gets when they have 1,500,000 SATS for their $1000 vs .015 BTC.
I have had success with some family and friends to buy some BTC but they always feel let down when they claim their 1/10 of a BTC. I always praise any size buy and always suggest that “you should buy enough to care and you’ll begin your learning journey”.
Would love to hear the community thoughts on unit bias in bitcoin. And how other coins low unit measurements skew people from even thinking about bitcoin.
