Unpopular opinion: Coinbase is actually a good exchange

Unlike what most people on here are saying, I fully think that Coinbase is a good and secure exchange, especially for those that are new to crypto, as the user interface is extremely simple to use.

Unlike crypto.com, you won't have to buy a minimum specific amount, which throws a lot of people off (talking from my own experience here).

This year there've been lots and lots of altcoins added. Even though there are a few that are still missing, yes, I'm looking at you VeChain and XRP, Coinbase still is doing well in terms of the cryptocurrency it has available.

Learn and earn

Coinbase has about $50 to be earned just by answering questions about cryptocurrencies. This is probably the only reason people that don't like Coinbase are still having it installed on their phones.

As far as I'm aware, you are now insured of £150.000 if you are living in the UK in the event of a breakthrough into your account.

Low Fees

Especially if you use Coinbase Pro, the fees are lower than average.
