Bitcoiners, especially new ones, here is my cautionary tale to convince you to implement an emotion-less dollar cost averaging (DCA) strategy to buy your corn.
I got into bitcoin at the peak of the previous bull market in 2021. My first lumpsum buy was when BTC was at $46k and headed up.
Thereafter, I have bought many times at levels ranging from $20k to $72k. Unfortunately, I never implemented a disciplined DCA method, instead just buying whenever fits of FOMO came upon me.
As a result, my average cost basis is a high $50k per coin. If I had DCA bought every week or every month, my cost basis might have been $35k per coin or so, and my bag would have been considerably bigger.
Hence, please learn from my mistakes and implement DCA for buying, without giving in to FOMO emotions.
