User on the cc memes sub randomly received 10k in USDT. Feels dodgy but can’t work out what the scam is.

It won’t let me link the post due to rules, but if you go in my comments you’ll find it. They’re asking how to get it back as they sent it to an incorrect address.

But, the problem in the post aside, the user explained in the comments if he couldn’t get it back, the loss wouldn’t be too bad as they actually had just randomly received the 10k USDT this morning and had no clue where it came from.

My best guess is it was meant to be a dust attack where they messed up the decimal points. But that wouldn’t explain if this was legit USDT (and not a similar looking copy).

Any theories or explanations here? This cannot be a normal thing, to just randomly receive $10k… I wonder if it was a mistake from another holder but then I wonder if they wouldn’t have come on here and asked about getting it back.
