I plan on using Bitcoin to fund my retirement in 10 years time when I’m 65.
I will be cashing out my existing pensions at that time to pay off the remaining mortgage balance. I will get a state pension of about £10k per annum.
I expect to have £0 debt.
I’m looking to Bitcoin to therefore fund any fiat living costs.
I would to extract approximately £50k a year from my Bitcoin holdings after I retire and hope to live maybe another 20 years.
I won’t be bothered if I die with little Bitcoin or fiat remaining as any inheritance I leave can be the mortgage free property.
Taking into account potential highs and lows in the market, I’m thinking I will need somewhere around about 2 Bitcoin at age 65 to make this a reality.
