Venmo was giving out $10 free of BTC. Cool, signed up for that offer. Time goes by, decide it's time to transfer to external wallet. Venmo app wouldn't let me transfer. I contacted customer support who responded:
"Thank you for contacting Venmo Support. I understand that you would like to send your crypto to your external wallet however it doesn't allow you because the minimum limit for BTC is 0.001 and your crypto balance is 0.0004284 BTC.
Apologized but there isn't a way for us to change or lift the limit. I am truly sorry for how frustrating and inconvenient this has been for you. I really appreciate your patience and understanding. Thanks again for reaching out! Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist. Take care and stay safe!"
