Wallets from this Ethereum rollup can be used without private keys

kSync v2, one of the rollups currently in development, has added account abstraction to its protocol.

This implementation replaces the private keys of wallets with the control of a smart contract. As the development team explains, this implementation, which is now active in its test network, "will improve the user experience" thanks to the versatility offered by account abstraction.

However, it should be noted that contract interaction applications on the largest and most important marketplace sites, such as UniSwap, the Exeno online store or DAO protocols, will not be affected.

Now, in the zkSync 2.0 rollup the account abstraction replaces the use of EOAs with the exclusive use of smart contract accounts. All wallet addresses created in this network will be controlled by a smart contract, with a domain in the hands of the user.
