Want to exchange Ledger for Trezor or Coldcard

So from some consensus, I don’t feel comfortable leaving my Bitcoin on Ledger. I got the Ledger about a week ago and did the transfer of my Bitcoin from Coinbase without issue, but I keep feeling uneasy seeing so many posts about people losing their money and getting blamed for telling their neighbor’s dog their seed phrase. Or worse yet, someone who left their Bitcoin dormant on a Ledger just for it not to be there when they updated it.

Idk, maybe someone can convince me otherwise, but I don’t want to be a computer genius to own Bitcoin or have self-custody. I personally don’t give a f*ck about the different terminology and internal blockchain dynamics (nor will most people if/when the masses adopt Bitcoin). /rant.

I want a secure place to have my Bitcoin so that if shit hits the fan with our government or economy, I can trust my bitcoin will still be there without needing to know why, by some off chance, it just isn’t because xyz.

I digress.

Do you think I could buy a Trezor or Coldcard and restore my Bitcoin with my 24-word seed phrase without having to transfer to another wallet? Because damn the fees are expensive now after halving.
