Way to buy cryptocurrency and send with the least amount of total fees?

I recently decided to explore cryptocurrency and learnt there are numerous fees, such as gas / miner fees (coin themselves) and commission fees from apps and wallets and exchanges.

With all the fees considered, which wallet app / exchange wallet AND the common types of cryptocurrency itself (altcoin / bitcoin) combined would give the least amount of total fees?

Cheapest to buy and send to someone? Specifically common types, not the cryptocurrencies that aren't accepted anywhere.

A list of combinations of multiple wallets and common cryptocurrencies is preferred since other factors such as reliability and security are also considered afterwards.
