We are going to see a sort of crypto dotcom crash that weeds out weak currencies and leaves a few strong ones to emerge dominant

Disclaimer: this is purely my opinion, I could be wrong

There’s a lot of disagreement and debate about the crypto world, but I think one thing we can all agree on is the market is extremely oversaturated. I think we can also all agree that there are a lot of con artists trying to take advantage of the buzz crypto has created. Every currency out there has some white paper promising to be the next great thing that fixes everything

So sort of like how prior to the dotcom crash anything with a .com on the end of it became a trend that people thought would explode so everyone and their mama made a .com company, they were way overvalued, market crashed, and only a few companies such as Amazon and a few others survived.

I think we’re essentially going to see a repeat of that

We’re already seeing it happen with Luna and UST getting completely wiped out, and both were very hyped up like those early tech stocks

Predicated survivors:

Bitcoin: this one is obvious, it has a strong foundation, incredibly powerful branding, and sometimes the power of branding and belief is stronger than fundamentals

Ethereum: same reasons as Bitcoin

Polkadot: It seems to be genuinely bringing some MRE things to the table and solving problems, it has a very legitimate developer who isn’t just a con man. I don’t think the white paper is just promising a heaven we’ll never see

Moreno: it seems to be the best currency for privacy, and for people who want to move money without government eyes whether legal or illegal this currency will be practical so long as it is effective at being hidden and private

Edit: there may be other survivors, There are a lot of altcoins I know very little about. I will not list altcoins I have a limited knowledge of as coins that I predict will survive, I am only mentioning the 4 coins that I have decent knowledge of that I am confident will survive
