We have the power of decentralization. How to use it?

Satoshi showed us a way to achieve a principle: decentralization, using proof of work. It's a hedge against central authorities, which can be abusive and controlling. Now that we have decentralized currencies, why stop here? Why shouldn't we apply decentralization to most areas in our lives?

First, there is one big impediment: blockchain trilemma: We can have only 2 of the following 3: security, decentralization and scalability. If this issue will be solved, and I think it is realistic that it will be in the following decades, then the possibilities will be endless: decentralized games, decentralized metaverses, decentralized everything.
