I was just at a Eth London over the weekend and met some really cool people with some really interesting projects. The only problem was that the vast majority of their projects were some form of infrastructure layer for cross-chain payment, still requiring a lot of knowledge of how web3 operates. There feels like this gaping niche that hasn’t been filled properly where we can help seamlessly integrate “web 3” solutions into the average user’s web application.
Out of all the people I met, only one had a solution that was designed to treat wallets as an added authentication mechanic for a web app.
We need to obscure wallets and crypto for a while, treating them as features that knowledgeable users can opt into during signup, rather than the minimum requirement for people to start interacting with our apps and, by extension, the blockchain.
This is sort of a rant, but seriously, apart from ThirdWeb, where are all the normal consumer focused projects at?
