We saved the Daily!!!

Today is a victory for this subreddit! Our portfolios may be down, but, today is the day that we had saved this subreddit from the tyranny of the whales!

7,000 of you, the majority, voted to save the Daily Discussion from being reduced. And to each and everyone of you, I say thank you and well done!

Unfortunately, our fight is most likely not over. It’s likely that the Daily will be forever seen as a blight to moon whales and skeptics everywhere and the fight to save the daily will be one that is continuous. But, as long as we band together, and fight with our vigorous strength and overwhelming numbers, we can continue to shit post till our hearts content!

With this in mind though, we must bring about unity to end this quarrel. Through education, and quality comments our doubters will become the believers and find themselves saying “Nay! Don’t change the daily!”

And with this I yield.

Edit: for those of you who don’t understand how we won, it didn’t meet the 6.8 million moons of favor of the victor on either side. So the poll closed without implementing the change; despite more moons being on the other side (just not enough of a majority).
