I believe it is safe to say that we all want crypto to be decentralized, but most of all, adopted. As the industry continues to grow, we can expect (hope) to see an influx of newcomers who are eager to learn, ask questions, and make mistakes.
I recently noticed the number of toxic comments and random downvoting seems to have increased. This really annoys me because often, there is no reason for this. It's childish behavior that reflects poorly on the subβs reputation, and most importantly, it's a turnoff for newcomers.
Remember, everyone has a "first day" sometime. It's important to treat these new investors with respect and kindness, rather than belittling them or making them feel foolish. Being condescending or dismissive is not a sign of intelligence, it only reflects poorly on you as a person.
If you're feeling bitter or frustrated, it's okay to keep those feelings to yourself. There's no need to make malicious comments or put others down just to satisfy your ego. Instead, try to offer constructive feedback or helpful advice that can benefit the community.
Let's work together to build a supportive and inclusive crypto community that welcomes newcomers and helps them succeed. After all, we all started somewhere. End rant.
