We're all Schrödinger's millionaires.

I realised something today. My portfolio isn't just a bunch of numbers on a screen, it's a quantum particle.

You know how in quantum physics, a particle can be in multiple states at once until observed? That's my portfolio. It's both skyrocketing to the moon and plummeting to the earth's core at the same time. It's only when I refresh the page that the superposition collapses and I find out whether I'm a crypto millionaire or a ramen noodle enthusiast for the next month (it's more or less always been the latter so far...)

And just like Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, the more precisely I try to predict the price of my tokens, the less certain I am about the time I will have to wait for it to happen. I mean, I was told Bitcoin would hit $100K by the end of 2022. It's 2023 now and I'm still waiting with my bags packed for the moon.

Then there's the entanglement... My emotional state is so entangled with my portfolio that when it dips, I dip. We dip together.

So here's to us quantum hodlers out there, observing our portfolios and collapsing wave functions one refresh at a time. May your crypto always be in a state of mooning and your dips be short-lived.
