What are some really useful crypto/blockchain based projects?

We've all heard it many times - crypto/blockchain will change the world, and not just as a new form of money, but also as a technology that will change everything. I got into crypto around 2018 and everybody was so hyped about it that I kinda expected to see it a bit more widespread by now and to see big blockchains solution changing the world already.

Anyway, I gotta admit that I don't really watch the crypto/blockchain scene nowhere as close as I did, as I simply don't have much time for that and there other more important things in my life that read about crypto and watch graphs all day long.

But I still consume daily a lot of news from all areas including crypto and can hardly remember hearing about anything that would be already changing some aspect of our lives in a way of becoming a world sensation. Maybe Worldcoin would partly apply, but in it's current stage it's hard to say if it's gonna actually get anywhere close mass adoption.

What are, according to you, crypto/blockchain projects which are truly useful and have the potential to make big ripples in the future, solving painful issues and potentially changing the whole industries? (Or even not so ambitious projects that have some really good idea/usecase).

Also, I should specify that I am mostly interested in other usecases than payments / rethinking money itself (Bitcoin).
