What are the most cutting edge ETH projects in your opinion?

Thanks u/culiflor for the tidbit on Egypt and CargoX. Before Q2 2020 you might have gotten the deer in the headlights look from someone as you explain the problem CargoX is solving. Saying “there is a ton of friction in the transfer of data in the global supply chain” didn’t hit home until the global supply chain broke down. One of the silver linings of the situation we are in, perhaps.

Now, what are other use cases/new projects that are tangible enough to explain to the layperson and, in a digestible nugget, give them a clear understanding of how the tech will improve their lives? Any and all input is welcome. My goal with this post is to start a catalogue of these projects so we can create a condensed list for all the newbies. I’m relatively new myself, so this is education for me as well. I figure if I’ve got this question, others do too.
