What are YOU going to do when 2.0 Merge happens?

I don't see a lot of people talking about what they are going to do when 2.0 drops. I get that this is still due to speculations, but if you haven't staked your ETH yet, why? If you have staked it to 2.0, again, why?

What's your worse case scenario and what solutions are you ready to use? Particularly looking at miners here.

For us miners I find the merge kind of scary and unpredictable. I don't want my miner to become obsolete, but that's the reality I have to face within not too long. But without the miners of ETH, will there be interest in ETH2 at all? Its not hard to see why people would fall off the bandwagon when they can't mine ETH.

advice needed: I can't decide if it would make more sense to cash out my wallet now or let them sit for a bit in my metamask account and see them flourish. With ETH becoming ETH2, my coins will eventually turn into that crypto too. Is it worth holding onto in an approximately 5-10 years plan?
