What do you look for in a coin when investing?

I'm curious of how others choose what coins to invest in, since there can be so many reasons for it.

Could be that they look for safety so go for the Top 2, or maybe they look for quick gains while takings risks and go with other Memecoins and new low cap coins.

But I do think that a lot of alts have the potential to take their place in the top 10 for more than a few cycles but what you need to look for in those coins is certainly a good dev team and usecases along with the speed and fees in my opinion.

Hype certainly goes a long way in the world of Crypto too, though when it dies down, the project dies for good.

I think we can see that with coins like DOGE or SHIB or many others.
