What do you think of AVAX and Subnets?

I am looking into this sub's sentiment of the Avalanche's blockchain and app-chains (subnets) network. It certainly has an unique approach to scalability.

Do you think it has a good approach to improve utility and adoption?

Or do you think it's just another project that will come and go?

I am not looking to share my opinion but would rather start a constructive discussion around this project to understand others' perceptions and the pros and cons. I have not seen many posts on AVAX and wonder why that is.
