What got you into Crypto?

Obviously we’re all crypto lovers in this sub and I think most of us are bullish long term even though many digital assets are quite speculative. Crypto is still in its infancy having been around for a little less than 15 years. We all got in to crypto at different times but I’m wondering what made you decide to invest?

I’m a bit embarrassed to say I heard about crypto through Elon Musk and dogecoin. I’m far away from that now but that’s how I entered the market a little over a year ago. Luckily I didn’t invest much at all in doge.

Truthfully, I wonder if a couple of meme coins could be good for mass adoption. I know it can be fun and bring a lot of eyes to the industry but can also get investors rekt pretty easily.

What made you get into crypto? Was it a project? Influencer? Maybe a family member or friend?
