What happened to Algo, the golden child of r/cc?

All Cryptocurrencies

by COINS NEWS 90 Views

I remember making fun of ADA here. I was calling it a stablecoin. And people were losing their minds. And I was like "Algo is not ADA." Oh my dear Algo. What have happened to you?

It is like my wife expectations from me. It easily drops but need quiet a few miracles to recover. Algo's price dropped almost sixty percent in a year. To give you a better image, ADA (former stablecoin) is down 30%, and Monero, the other well loved crypto among the people of this sub, is UP 30%.

It is like having the best sport car in the world, but no tire. It is been said than tech or usecases of a coin might not be enough to garantee it's future, that publicity and hype are much more relevant to the price hike. But damn, never imagined a day when people wish they would have bought Pepe instead of Algo. Sad day for crypto indeed.

And no, I will keep my bag. I still believe in Algo.

PS: can someone explain why Algo's price action been so bad? Did I miss a huge news about it? Or is it just market? Thank you. PPS: repost because of wrong flair
