What idiot proof enhancements does crypto need for it to become mainstream?

Let's face it. When computers first appeared nobody had any idea how to use those except for the tech guys. To everyone else they were way too complicated. In time they added a mouse, a more user friendly OS, friendly interface and so on.

And the same thing happened with the internet. And most revolutionary things. At the beginning they were way too much for the average person to comprehend. They all thought we didn't need those "new" things. The computer and the internet were both believed to be a solution to a problem that didn't exist. Anyone remembers Wendell Berry's famous article where he talked about how the computers will never be mainstream and how it'll be a dying trend?

But one thing helped with adoption. And that is making things simple for the average user to get into it.
