What if we become the new Gold Bugs

Hi guys,

Big advocate of Bitcoin here. I'm just wondering though, and would love all your perspectives on it, what if we are the new Gold Bugs. I can actually sympathise with the gold lovers, they probably see the fallacy of the fiat currency and probably share a lot of the similar views that we hold. However, the gold bugs have never quite had their time, or, the global economic has never quite collapsed like they believed it would. What if just simply, the time it takes for Bitcoin to become the global currency takes longer than we have days left on this Earth!
