Reading about Eignelayer right now, and the concept of "extending the security of layer 1 to roll ups" seems to be an important idea. I have a minimal understanding of why security is important - two examples being preventing double spends and ensuring transaction ordering. But I'm more interested in the question of how does security happen? I'm looking for anything to read on this. Academic papers are great if you have any, thanks for sharing
