Is there any ideas of how bitcoin could be inhereted in a trustless way? I know that the simplest solution is to simply teach your kids about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and simply share private keys with them hoping that they will not do something stupid with it. But when kids are too young you really don't want to do it, yet something bad can happen any day and there still should be a way to pass the keys to them. The other idea might be is make some sort of letter with proper discription on how to use crypto and print all necessery data alongside it, then ask someone (relative, or some institution, like traditional bank) to pass the letter at the certain age. But then you rely on some third party that they will deliver the promise of passing the letter. Is there any better ideas?
