I'll say one, that is not mine, but my brother's.
He says that he can't be sure that BTC wasn't created by some governmental institution, like CIA, to ultimately control all of us. Yeah, sure, no one controls the creation of new btc but the protocol. But ultimately, this is a great way of controling and knowing exactly how much btc each one have. Because if you want to change into fiat, you'll have to KYC in an exchange.
Of course, he recognizes it's a long shot, and he hopes btc was really created by someone (or group of people) that wanted true change in our financial system. Regardless, i keep dca btc (and a bit of Atom) every month. His point is that, after a couple years in the market (we both hold GME too) he feels we can't really trust no one, and that everything's possible. And he normally add: when we started to have Internet, the US army already had it for more than a decade, so who can really know where ithe tecnological development is, at this point?
Although no one can rule this out, because no one knows who created btc, and there's a wallet with 1M btc unmoved (imagine how much control in the price this wallet have), he recognizes and hopes he's wrong.
I trust 100% in btc (in fact, it's probably the biggest certainty I have in my financial life), but his theory pop out in my head, from time to time.
What about you, guys? Do you have or know some crazy theory about crypto, that can actually make sense, in nowadays? At this point, i'm ready to hear it all. ????
