what is the worst tragedy you know about someone from investing in crypto?

I know about this guy who initially started investing a bit on LUNA because he was attracted by the 20% profit. He then start doubling on his investment after he realised the compounding effects accumulated from the 20% profit. As he was also getting married and wanted more moolah for his house and renovation, he poured in all his savings to buy LUNA. When LUNA crashed, he lost all his savings over 10 years and have totally no money left for the marriage expenses and renovation. There were also huge mortgages left for the house. His fiancees was horrified to find out about his losses and left him calling him a monster gambler for gambling away what they have worked very hard to build for their future. He now has a new girlfriend but he really has to restart everything he had build up over the past ten years painfully from scratch.
