What options are available to lurkers to gain Moons?

Those of us that are too dumb, awkward, or lazy to engage in any meaningful discourse on this sub are at a significant disadvantage when it comes to earning Moons. Are there any known plans to increase the means of harvesting Moons? Things I could think of would be: rewards for surveys or games, raffles and giveaways, receiving them as gifts/awards in other subreddits, and then just flat out buying or exchanging for them. I am aware of the need for scarcity as making them too easy to acquire will dilute their value, but surely there has to be some utility for these other than just as a reward for good karma levels.
