I think there is an issue with sustainability with blockchain as a whole. Suppose there is a social built on top of blockchain, and the underlying providers (lets consider facebook as one of the current providers) does not have any means to make money out of customer. Do you think that such a system would be free for customers to use. And if so, why would people would use it, when an average person doesn't care if the data is being sold.
Like if web2.0 promises people free use of their services, even though it hampers their privacy, I don't think people would want to web3.0 where they are charged to even scroll through feed.
What are your thoughts on this, I know this would have been discussed previously, but wanted to know enthusiasts opinions.
