If you had to define a SWR for a Bitcoin portfolio for an early retirement? It's known that in TradFi a SWR of 4÷ is almost guaranteed for success for Normal retirement, and maybe a 3,5÷ for an early retirement. But we also know past average performance of Bitcoin was immensely higher than the 10÷ you'd expect from the S&P500. And we also here expect higher returns than the S&P in the future, even if they diminish over time.
Given that facts, if you were to plan an early retirement today, what SWR would you use for a 100÷ Bitcoin retirement to live off? Some people say a 10÷ SWR would be pretty safe, some people say 20÷ and some still would go with 3÷. Of course I expect bad crash years too where I would use a safety cash cushion and reduce my spending.
NOTE: IM TALKING ABOUT THE FIAT EXPECTED GAINS IN BTC TO CALCULATE, NOT USING BTC HOLDINGS AS IF YOU SET A 5÷ SWR YOU WOULD RUN OUT OF MONEY IN 20 YEARS.
What's your number? Cause if I aim for a 7÷ I could pull the trigger today, or a 5÷ hopefully next year. Just want your opinions.
