What's your crypto story? Share your best and worst moments

I personally started investing in crypto this January because I couldn't find a way to buy stocks (lol). I saw ETH around $700 per coin but was to scared to buy a whole coin when I just entered so I started slowly DCAing into different crypto currencies.

During the May ATH I missed a lot of good opportunities as I sold MATIC and DOGE right before they peaked. Still, I had about 100% gains on my crypto and that also made me anxious since I felt like this can go down any moment but I wanted to be long-term HODLer. I didn't sell and watched my portfolio go back to the original buying price. I was ok but that slight anxiety made me try out futures trading. That eventually led me to lose quite a lot of money as I became pretty addicted to it. I know everyone says it here but it's never enough for some people (like me) - keep your hands away from leverage, unless you know exactly what you're doing. I try to think of it as an expensive lesson that will save me from a future loss that could have even been much bigger that this. Even negative experience can sometimes be good if you learn from it I guess.

Right now, I'm happily staking everything I have and as for this week I decided to quit day trading or any kind of leverage trading. I wish I can use this current dip to accumulate more crypto, but I just feel like I need a break from spending money on it. Perhaps I will invest in some depreciating assets like new shoes to make myself happy and distracted from the constant checking of crypto charts. If I will do anything crypto related in the upcoming months, I hope it will be learning properly about the tech since that's something I didn't explore so much yet.
