When buying using ETH on uniswap, is there any harm keeping that Reject/Confirm popup window open until the gas fee goes down to a lower one im happy with?

Im doing a test in uniswap for comparing gas fees.

When your ready to place an order is there any harm keeping his window open for a long while until the gas fee goes down to a lower amount your happy with?

Will it time out eventually or you loose money or anything bad like that?
