Where is the Algo hype?

I bought my first ALGO a couple weeks ago, after doing some research on it. I really consider Algo to be a very solid project. The fact that it's a purely proof of stake coin makes staking your tokens really easy. The wallet is also very easy to use and intuitive and I've just joined their community and it seems to be one of the kindest subreddit on the platform.

A couple of months ago, every third post was about Algorand. I didn't mind it as it helped me learn more about it. I'm just curios where are the Algo fanboys since it seems that besides the price going down(obviously), everything is going well. The smart contracts are there and the fundamentals didn't change.

Also, I'm looking into XLM since it seems to be more of a stable coin and I might use it to transfer some money from a wallet to another and I didn't find any better coin to do that. Do you have any advice?
